According to the latest survey report of Ctrip.com - China's largest online travel agency - about graduation trips in 2014, 48 percent of the graduates prefer to travel abroad while 42 percent of them choose domestic tourism. The report shows that the graduates prefer long trips because of their particularly long holidays. Domestic tourist destinations such as Yunnan, Xiamen, Sanya and foreign attractions in Europe, Japan, and Thailand have respectively become the top 3 choices for graduation trips.

Yunnan's unique natural resources, its gorgeous landscapes like Dali, Lijiang, Erhai and Shangri-La are all extremely charming to the graduates. And countries in Europe, especially France and Italy are the most popular choices with them.

For all the tourists bound for Yunnan, according to the survey, 30 percent of them will choose self-service travel, while the others prefer to travel in group tours. The Yunnan tourism packages that range from 2000 to 4500 yuan ($ 320.2 -720.45) are the most acceptable ones for them.
