Lijiang tea trade fair to open

According to the Lijiang tea merchants association, there will be a tea trade fair held from July 18-22, at Yuhe Square, in Lijiang, Yunnan provience. The theme of the exposition will be harmonious Lijiang–commerce and trade creating economic prosperity and culture development.

During the fair, branded and famous tea enterprises from different producers, including Xishuangbanna, Pu'er and Guangzhou, will gather together and present different teas and tea sets. Free tasting of different teas will be provided for tea lovers to make comparisons.

"The tea trade fair may promote the communication of tea culture and help people to get a better understanding of Lijiang and its tea commerce,"said Zhang Zhiguo, an official of Lijiang's tea merchants association.

This tea trade fair aims to promote Chinese tea culture and to advocate healthy consumption. In addition, the fair will improve service and create a good trading environment for tea merchants from different places. Quality teas, cultural products and characteristic products of the locality are the main features of this tea trade fair.
