China Post to release Lijiang ancient town stamped postcard

China Post will release a stamped postcard featuring Lijiang ancient town on Aug 6. The 148mm by 100mm postcard is named Lijiang Ancient Town and the stamp value is 0.80 yuan ($0.12). The sales price of the postcard will be 1 yuan.

Lijiang ancient town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located in the southwest of Yunnan province, 2,400 meters above sea level. The old town is said to be one of the only two cities built without a city wall in China.
