The Communist Youth League Yunnan Committee recently organized a story sharing seminar themed around working hard for a better youth in Lijiang on Oct 22, Xinhua.net reported.

He Jing, president of a college student’s innovation service company, started the innovation in 2008. He has mobilized about 1,000 students to start businesses. In 2012, he won the award of “Yunnan Youth Innovation Pioneer.”

Wang Jiachao, gold medal winner of the swimming race at the 2012 London Paralympic Games, suffered from an electronic accident and amputation when he was only five. However, he carried on his dream and never gave up. To date, he has won more than 90 gold medals. In 2013, Wang was awarded as the “Most Motivated University Student.”

“We have to spend time and make efforts to realize our dreams,” said a group member from the Communist Youth League Yunnan Committee. During the seminar, people shared their own stories and encouraged others.

“I feel powerful and encouraged after I hear these stories,” said Pang Huimei, a student from the Lijiang Vocational Senior High School.

Since 2013, the Yunnan committee has held a series activities to encourage the youth to make efforts and realize their dreams.
