Lucky Air has opened a Lijiang-Simao air route on December 29. It believes that the newly-opened route will bring convenience to people there.

The regular route flies every Monday and Friday, departing from Lijiang at 1:00pm and arriving in Simao at 2:00pm. The return flight will depart from Simao at 2:30pm and arrive in Lijiang at 3:30pm.

Simao is known as Pu'er city among local people. People also call it the "Pearl of Green Sea" and "Natural Oxygen Bar" because of its pleasant climate and beautiful scenery. More than 14 ethnic groups live here, including the Hani, Yi and Dai ethnic groups.

The newly-opened flight route has launched some promotion activities. Passengers can have the opportunity to get cheap one-way tickets at the price of 150 yuan ($24.10).
