Impression Lijiang hits record high in 2014

The box office of Impression Lijiang has grown steadily in 2014, registering record high performances, audience attendance and box office income, according to Lijiang Yulong Snow Mountain Impression Tourism Cultural Industry Co.

Impression Lijiang, a prominent cultural show in Lijiang city, Yunnan province, was performed 899 times in 2013 to a total number of 2.08 million audience members, generating income of 234 million yuan ($37.44 million) and profits of over 26 million yuan.

In 2014, despite the drop in the number of group tourists as a result of the Tourism Law coming into effect and the tourism market entering a transitional period, Impression Lijiang maintained steady growth for its consistent high-quality, increasingly mature brand and good reputation.

Preliminary statistics show that in 2014, Impression Lijiang was performed 987 times, welcoming a total audience attendance of 23.5 million and earning an income of almost 250 million yuan.

In 2014, great efforts have been made to ensure the quality and appeal of Impression Lijiang. Based on audience feedback, the show has been improved constantly by adjusting details to make it more audience-oriented. As a result, audience surveys show that satisfaction has stayed above 95 percent.
