Tourists swamp Dali and Lijiang for Qingming Festival

China's two largest online tourism service providers - Ctrip and Qunar - report that the towns of Lijiang and Dali in Yunnan province were two of the hottest tourism destinations during the recent Qingming (Tomb-sweeping) Festival because of the blossoms and the desire to go out of town for a taste of spring.

The two were clearly popular during the three-day holiday, with Lijiang making it to the Top 10 hottest domestic tourist destination list and Dali, the Top 10 domestic flower viewing areas.
