Lijiang mayor inspects development zone and local companies

Zheng Yi, mayor of Lijiang, visited Gucheng district and Yulong county, inspecting transportation and water conservation, lijiang.gov.cn reported.

Mayor Zheng Yi first visited the Jinshan High-tech Science and Technology Development Zone.

He noted that the zone should make infrastructure construction a priority and work harder in attracting businesses.

Zheng also visited a water conservation project and noted that protection of water ecology is the key to alleviation of water shortages.

He then went to Yulong county to inspect the construction sites of the Lixiang Railway and the Huali Highway. He hoped that safety would be a top priority.

Zheng hoped that the Yinghua Group can explore traditional Chinese medicine more and help locals earn more money.

“The government will support high-tech, innovative projects with good social effects,” said Zheng, hearing that Yinghua has obtained six patents.

Vice mayor Yang Jingquan, Chen Xingyuan and other officials accompanied Zheng on his inspection.
