The Lijiang Culture Center organized a painting training session on May 29 to guide artists in the creation of beautiful representations of the landscapes present in the Lugu Lake tourism zone.

The training will last for ten days, bringing together professional teachers, local artists and 40 trainees.

Local painters, such as Zhang Zhiping, former vice-president of the Yunnan Artists Association, and Chen Xiaoming, director of Arts Education at Yunnan Arts University, have been invited to give detailed instruction in painting techniques and theory.

Wang Xiaorong, director of the Lijiang Culture Center, has encouraged trainees to create works featuring the local unique ethnic culture and abundant landscapes of Lijiang.
