Yunnan's top sunrise destination in winter

White snow, golden sunlight, and dark ridges makes Yulong Snow Mountain a winter tourism dreamland.

Yulong Snow Mountain, located in Yulong Naxi autonomous county of Southwest China's Yunnan province. Yulong, is the biggest snow mountain in the northern hemisphere, covering a length of 35km from north to the south.

The best viewing time for sunrise in winter is at 7:50 in the morning. Driving on the Baisha Road, which heads to the Yulong Snow Mountian, will provide tourists with the best view of the white-capped mountain covered by golden sunlight.

Over the years, the tourist destination has also demolished unsightly buildings with an area of 12,000 square meters. It has built 12 artificial lakes with a total storage capacity of 400,000 cubic meters, improving the climate and ecological environment of the scenic area.

The scenic area is equipped with environmentally friendly vehicles and battery vehicles for passenger transport, greatly improving the environment and management of the area.
