Lijiang, Yunnan Investment group work on smart city

The People's Government of Lijiang and Yunnan Investment Holdings Co Ltd signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the construction of smart Lijiang on Jan 23.

Both sides will advance cooperation in promoting smart construction in fields of party building, government affairs, finance, and tourism to lead Lijiang to the forefront of Yunnan province.

Based on the cloud platform of "Yunnan on Cloud-Yunnan Provincial Information Center", Yunnan Investment Group will boost the construction of internet, big data and party building in Lijiang, realize the integration of party works in Lijiang and implement education management services in grassroots party organizations and party members across Yunnan province.

Since terminal sites have already been built in local villages and communities, all-inclusive financial services, such as banking, insurance and internet finance, will enter households in Yunnan. A service system will be built to alleviate local poverty through digital inclusive finance.

In the future, the two parties will effectively collect and integrate big data in local key industries and deepen analysis on relations between government data and social data.

In addition, with the support of the platform of Lijiang Tourism Big Data Center, Lijiang will further improve and expand tourism big data products and services, and implement a number of benchmarking projects, including Traveling Yunnan with a Phone.
