Lijiang backups for innovation and entrepreneurship

The Communist Youth League of Lijiang unveiled its demonstrative base of innovation and entrepreneurship on Feb 7, to set up a service platform for local youth to start up their own businesses.

Lijiang will take market-oriented measures to integrate market resources to build a platform for local entrepreneurship, in particular, for cultivating innovative businesses with high growth.

The Communist Youth League of Lijiang's Yulong County created the youth innovation alliance, aiming to use innovation to promote pioneering businesses of young entrepreneurs.

Chen Xingyuan, vice mayor of Lijiang, introduced that Lijiang government should further take a lead and integrate social sources of innovation and entrepreneurship, encourage all market participants to innovate their products, start a business and expand market.

Chen said, "The demonstration Base and the youth innovation alliance will help local startups expand market and strengthen intellectual property protects. Also, innovation and entrepreneurship oriented talents will be introduced to become the impetus of local economy."

At the launching ceremony, an activity of designing and making Naxi ethnic group's unique products for use used during the Spring Festival was organized. Traditionally Naxi festive goods including couplets, window grilles, and lanterns are available for local shoppers.
