Lijiang promotes local tourism at travel fair

A delegation of Lijiang showed up at the 14th Strait Travel Fair in Xiamen, Fujian province to highlight the tourist resources of the city from April 20 to 22.

Members of the Tourism Development Committee of Lijiang introduced smart tourist projects led by "E-travel in Yunan", new tourist routes and products to the delegates and reporters by giving out leaflets, playing promotional videos and answering questions.

Officials sent out invitations to all the attenders at a promotional conference hosted by the Yunnan Provincial Tourism Development Committee.

The 14th Strait Travel Fair was held from April 20 to 22 in Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center. People from 43 countries and regions took up 2,200 exhibition booths in a total area of over 50,000 square meters to catch the eyes of the participants.

Lijiang is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations. Snow-capped mountain vistas, ancient architecture and streets, canals and waterways, and the Naxi people and their distinct culture give Lijiang its universal value of mankind.
