Lijiang hosts Zimei Lake hiking activity to celebrate Youth Day

A hiking activity was held at Zimei Lake in Lijiang, Southwest China's Yunnan province on May 4 to celebrate Youth Day in China, attracting more than 1,800 citizens, tourists, and hikers.

The whole hiking route was 12.8 kilometers, passing through scenic spots such as Shuhe Old Town, Baisha Old Town, and Beiyue Temple, before finally arriving at Lijiang Zimei Lake Scenic Area.

After a fiercely competitive race, Xie Zhanjun from Henan province won the single-group championship with a time of 1 hour, 4 minutes, and 51 seconds, while the Lantian Team won the team championship with a time of 2 hours, 14 minutes, and 58 seconds.

The activity has further promoted the spirit of the May Fourth Movement, while also motivating citizens and tourists to experience outdoor sports fun, enhancing Lijiang's brand image.
