Lijiang celebrates 2019 China Tourism Day

On May 19, a publicity activity to celebrate the 2019 China Tourism Day was held at Yuhe Square, the Old Town of Lijiang, Southwest China's Yunnan province with the theme of "integrating culture and tourism to create a beautiful life."

The Lijiang culture and tourism bureau and the Lijiang tourism association set up booths to showcase innovative tourism products and to distribute tourism promotional materials to residents, as well as guide visitors with information about civilized travel policies and green consumption.

During the activity, Lijiang also released the "2019 Lijiang Tourism Integrity Price Guide."

Cultural exhibitions and free visits to folklore courtyards were also held in areas such as Shuhe Old Town and Heilongtan Park, which attracted a large number of visitors to participate.

In the future, Lijiang will also launch more policies to attract visitors, such as tourist attractions ticket discount policies, as well as preferential measures for hotels and travel agencies.
