Dongba drama Xueshan Shenhua performed in Lijiang

The large-scale fantasy drama Xueshan Shenhua (Snow Mountain Myth) was staged at Dongba Mysterious Realm Scenic Spot in Lijiang, Southwest China's Yunnan province on May 21.

It is the first comprehensive stage drama that focuses on the story of the origin of Dongba culture, which is also another practice of Lijiang's integration of culture and tourism.

Inspired by the history story of the Dongba, the drama expresses Lijiang people's love of freedom and nature.

Different from other dramas, Xueshan Shenhua integrates traditional and modern art performances such as martial arts, acrobatics, gymnastics, songs, and dance.

He Wenwu, deputy director of the publicity department of Lijiang's municipal Party committee said that the drama is full of humanistic art, which will help Lijiang explore more innovative sightseeing tourism models to build a world-class tourism destination.
