October Literature Museum of Lijiang's Old Town opens

The October Literature Museum of the Old Town of Lijiang opened to the public on July 12, which was established by the October Literature Academy and the protection and management bureau of the Old Town of Lijiang.

It is the first image pavilion set up by Beijing's "October" literary brand, integrating the display of literary achievements, the creation exchanges between writers, and the cultivation of young writers.

It is also the first cultural site with the theme of literature in Lijiang Old Town., covering various functions such as literary exhibitions, artistic creation, cultural exchanges, and education.

Qu Zhong, dean of the October Literature Academy, said that Lijiang is an important landmark along the Belt and Road, as well as an ancient city with a profound historical heritage and rich cultural resources, providing unique conditions for writers' literary creations and communication.

The museum will become a multi-functional new literary platform and base. It will also invite more writers and poets to Lijiang for creation and experience activities to publicize Lijiang through their works, Qu added.
