The centers are located in the St John's and St Philip's areas of Antigua and Barbuda.
With a total construction area of 2,937 square meters, the centers feature community clinics, community service centers, office and support facilities and access roads.
After being put into use, each medical community center will provide residents with multiple services including public health services, outpatient services, emergency care and referrals, diagnosis and treatment technology, inspections and tests.
They will also be able to undertake medical treatment missions to nearby islands.

Helped by the active and enthusiastic efforts of all its project staff members, the centers completed construction on Aug 10 as scheduled, which was lauded by the Chinese Embassy in Antigua and Barbuda, as well as the Antigua and Barbuda government.
Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister Gaston Browne praised POWERCHINA as an international company which produces results, even during the global COVID-19 epidemic.
The two medical community centers will greatly enhance and improve the country's public health and medical care.
The completed project also reflects the abiding friendship between China and Antigua and Barbuda, which together can face major challenges like the coronavirus epidemic.
