POWERCHINA is currently undertaking a slew of infrastructure priority projects in Ghana and has contributed a great deal to the construction of the country's infrastructure, the president said.

When completed, the Eastern Corridor road, located in the Oti region in Ghana, will have a total length of 56.4 kilometers and width of 12.3 meters.

The Lot 10 section includes roadbed excavation and backfilling, construction of culverts and drainage ditches, subbase backfilling and gravel base backfilling, road surface lights and other facilities, as well as the planting of grass and general greening.

As of mid-October, the first 17 km of the Lot 10 section had been completed and construction of the base course and drainage ditch was underway, with good progress being made.
