The 500-kilovolt transmission line project for Egyptian Electricity Transmission Co, or EETC -- linking the Wadi substation to 6th of October City in Egypt -- was recently completed by POWERCHINA Hubei Engineering Co.
The transmission line was designed as double-circuit power line using the same tower, stretching over 48.43 kilometers.

It will further optimize the power grid structure in the Nile Delta region of Egypt and improve the safe operations of the power grid, which in turn will have a profound impact on the country's economic development and use of electric energy.
Since the breaking of ground, the construction staff members have actively cooperated and steadily promoted various tasks in accordance with the requirements of the project owner and the contractor.
