Xiong Lixin, vice general manager of POWERCHINA International Group and general manager of POWERCHINA's Eurasian regional headquarters, met with Kamyshev Serhii, Ukraine ambassador to China at the company's headquarters in Beijing on Dec 15.
They conducted in-depth exchanges on the development of the company's business in Ukraine and its future plans there.
Xiong extended a warm welcome to the envoy and his delegation and gave a briefing on the status of POWERCHINA's ongoing and tracking projects in Ukraine.

He explained that, at present, the company has signed eight contracts in Ukraine, including one highway project, three solar power generation projects and four wind power generation projects.
In the future, the company will continue to utilize its resources in the entire industry supply chain and strive to deepen the Ukrainian market in the fields of energy, power and infrastructure, he added.
Ambassador Kamyshev welcomed those sentiments and expressed his appreciation for the outstanding achievements of POWERCHINA in the field of Ukrainian infrastructure.
He encouraged POWERCHINA to continue to increase its efforts to develop the Ukrainian market and to promote projects currently under construction.
The Ukraine embassy in Beijing will provide support and assistance for the projects being undertaken by POWERCHINA, to contribute to deepening of friendly relations between the two countries, he added.
