As temperatures rise, scenic spots such as the water park are crowded with people.
According to statistics released by the local tourism administration, Qingxin county has hosted 524,000 domestic and foreign tourists, up 39 percent over the same period last year. It has generated projected total tourism revenue of 275 million yuan, up 92 percent over the same period last year.
On July 15th, the swimming pools of Qingquanwan Eco-Tourism Resort were packed with people. “We began to enter the peak season from mid-May. We used to have three to four thousand guests per day, five to six thousand on weekends and during the holidays. The number of tourists can even reach seven thousand during the peak-season,” said Huang Yibo, planning manager of the resort.
A visitor from Dongguan said that the water here was much cleaner than that of Dongguan. The beautiful scenery is so appealing that some tourists make a return trip.
