The “I Love Shenyang—Shenyang in foreigners’ eyes 2016” gala was held in Shenyang on December 16. A photography contest and a Chinese speech contest were held for foreigners, with prizes awarded that same day.

All the shows of the 90-minute gala, which included traditional Chinese operas, Kongfu, and modern dances, were performed by foreigners, whose love for Shenyang was in their eyes as they talked about the city.

“Shenyang in foreigners’ eyes” was widely supported by the city’s foreigners. More than one thousand photos were received for the photography contest, and the outstanding ones were selected for exhibitions in Shenyang’s universities, foreign enterprises, and shopping malls. About 400 people from over 30 countries and regions took part in the event.
