Xian International Trade &Logistics Park will become the largest comprehensive logistics park in western China and a logistics center of product delivery, freight distribution, and container shipment connecting western China with the world.
It seeks to become the largest international inland port in China and the most important logistics hub in the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River, as well as a modern city driven by the service industry.
The establishment of the park is firmly supported by the State and provincial and municipal governments and was described in the Opinions on the In-Depth Implementation of the Western Development Strategy.
Since June 2008, when the port administrative committee restructured, the park has made great achievements in setting up an inland port, development zone and eastern new town.
