Ji’nan: A new campaign hoping to encourage motorists to drive with courtesy was recently launched in the city of Ji’nan with the help of the Public Security Department.
The Courteous Driving Campaign will be supervised by the Supervision Division of the Ji’nan Public Security Bureau. “We should drive in a courteous manner, and be considerate to pedestrians,” Li Jianhua, deputy director of the Jinan Public Security Bureau, said at the launch ceremony.
All cars in the public security department will be pasted with the campaign icon on their windshields, reminding drivers to show courtesy, unless in the event of an emergency.
"As a policeman, my duty is not only to strictly enforce the law, but also to act as a role model when driving,” said Du Xiaofeng, a Ji’nan police officer.
