Starting in 15 days, same-day patients of Shangdong hospitals will be spared parking fees by showing their medical records.

Patients will enjoy free parking in the hospital by proving they have received treatment on the same day, according to the new rule, which will also prohibit outside parking lots from charging patients.

Public security organs will keep traffic outside hospitals in order, while pricing departments are responsible for the supervision of arbitrary charges in related areas.
