Yantai Wine Festival sees great harvest

Thirty-five businesses had signed new contracts by the time the Yantai International Wine Festival concluded. 24 of them are foreign-funded, and the new deals will bring a total foreign investment of $710 million to China. The other 11 are domestic-backed, and have a total investment of 10.3 billion yuan.

A total of $236 million worth of import-and-export trade and 280 million yuan worth of domestic trade was arranged at the wine festival.

Wine-related organizations from more than 30 countries and regions including France, Germany, Australia and Spain attended the wine festival. More than 500 exhibiting booths were set up for over 200 companies. These booths attracted over 50,000 businessmen from home and abroad looking for business opportunities.
