According to Xinhua report on Dec. 5, Chinese paleontologists recently discovered a fossil of a horned dinosaur in Zhucheng city of Shansong province, and it was confirmed that the fossil belonged to a new generic species of dinosaur.

On the Zhucheng International Cretaceous Period Continental Ecological System Seminar, the newly-discovered fossil, which provides a demonstration of the horned dinosaur's complicated evolution in the late Cretaceous period, was named the "Accidental Zhucheng Horned Dinosaur." And relative research results about the discovery have been published in the Public Library of Science in November.
