On November 30, another visitors’ center on Taishan Mountain--Far Heaven Village--opened for use. In the newly built 2,000 square-meter corridor, visitors can not only buy tickets and wait for buses, but also catering, shopping and travel advisory.
From now on, the five visitors’ centers, including Far Heaven Village, Peach Blossom Valley, Red Door, The Gate to Mid-heaven, and Dai Temple, have already covered every important scenic spot and intersection for Taishan Mountain.
The Far Heaven Village visitors’ center was adapted from the round Far Heaven Square, which has been the most significant traffic hinge and distributing center of visitors since it was established in 2000. It took six months to equip the center with high-tech equipment. Twenty one cameras were installed at tickets booking, checking, entrance, exit, and accumulation areas. The night scene project boosts lighting and enhances night time scenery and opens up possibilities for 24-hour trip lines.
