More than 100,000 tourists celebrated the traditions of spring at an eight-day temple fair at Thousand Buddha Mountain Park in Jinan, the capital of Shandong province.
The festival began on March 3, which is a day of traditional spring festivals and temple fairs in the Chinese lunar calendar.
In Jinan, the temple fair featured various folk arts, local snacks and Chinese traditional arts such as Lv Opera and Suona performances.
"I feel good. There is a rich atmosphere of traditional culture at the temple fair. We can enjoy various kinds of arts such as traditional music, folk arts and books,” visitor Jiang Xiuhong said.
The March 3 temple fair at Thousand Buddha Mountain can be traced back 1,500 years to the Sui dynasty.
