“The cooperation between the two sides will boost our competitiveness and help Linuo rapidly edge into the ranks of internationally leading solar power manufacturers,” Linuo Power Group President Gao Yuankun said.
Tze-Chiang Chen, vice president of science and technology at IBM’s Thomas J. Watson Research Center in New York, said Linuo is IBM’s only partner in the research of solar power in Asia. The two sides will share the latest research achievements and jointly promote the development of clean energy, he said.
China’s Linuo Power Group is an international high-tech company specializing in research and development, and the manufacture and sales of solar cells, modules and PV (photovoltaic) power generation systems. The company has formed a middle-stream and downstream solar power industrial chain with a focus on cell, module and solar power generation engineering.
