On Jan 31, 2012, the 2012 Qingdao Radish Fair opened on Cultural Street, Changle Road in Qingdao, Shandong province. With 390,000 customers and the sales of 92 tons of radish on the opening day, the radish fair will last a week from Jan 31 to Feb 6, 2012.

During the fair, about 210 activities will be held, including the national radish carving competition, various folk culture activities and business and trade events.
