The 16th Pear Blossom Festival kicked off in the Ningyang Shentong Mountain scenic spot in East China’s Shandong province on March 30.
The 14-day event, which will last until April 14, provides visitors a chance to indulge in a sea of white flowers and more than 120 natural attractions on Shentong Mountain. Ningyang has a history of planting pears that spans hundreds of years. The pear orchard in the Shentong Mountain scenic spot covers a total area of 1,000 hectares, where more than 20,000 ancient pear flowers are now in full bloom.
