Taier Zhuang Ancient Town, located in the city of Zaozhuang, Shandong province, launched various events during the National Day holiday, Oct 1-7, receiving up to 360,000 tourists, and an income of nearly 20 million yuan, an increase of 35.52% over the previous year.
The events impressed tourists and included a paraglider show, a free-flying extreme sport helping people to relax, and the dragon dance, a traditional Chinese dance performed by experienced dancers from places such as Zhejiang, Shanxi and Henan province.

Tourist attractions in the town, such as the bar street, gourmet street, intangible cultural relics street, loving-couple street, photography exhibition hall, and 40 museums, were also well received by visitors.

In addition, to create a comfortable tourism environment, the town strengthened its security in hotels, restaurants, shopping malls and amusement facilities, increased temporary parking lots, and arranged 25 free buses.
