The coastal city of Qingdao, Eastern China's Shandong province, will hold the 2015 World Leisure Games from Sept 12 to 21 in the county of Laixi on the outskirts of Qingdao, according to the Chinese-language Qingdao Daily.

Two boards have been set up at Qingdao's Wusi Square and Laixi's People Square to countdown to the Leisure Games.
Major infrastructure construction projects have been completed for the competition, city officials announced at a recent press conference.
The international games include 17 contests, including extreme sports, obstacle roller skating, water skiing, street dancing, sailing, golf, biking, fishing, aerobic gymnastics and beach rugby.
The event will also include a World Leisure Summit, World Leisure Expo, and Leisure Culture and Arts Festival.
The Italy-based World Leisure Organization appointed Qingdao as the host city for the 2015 World Leisure Games on Oct 3, 2013. |
