The transport authorities in Yantai, Shandong province, plan to launch six shuttle bus lines and four inter-city bus lines in preparation for the opening of the Penglai International Airport on May 28.

A total of 56 buses are expected to serve on the 10 lines. The six shuttle bus lines will run between the airport and the cities of Weihai, Rushan, Shidao, Zhaoyuan, Longkou and Penglai respectively. The inter-city bus lines will connect the airport with Zhifu, Laishan and the Economic Development districts.

Taxis will be permitted to wait at the airport without application. The transport authorities will also crack down on illegal transportation to ensure the safety of passengers while traveling.
