The fourth self-elevating drilling rig of Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore Limited (CIMC Raffles), CPOE 15, was delivered to CNPC Offshore Engineering Co (CPOE) on May 21 in Yantai, Shandong province.

The rig measures 59.745 meters in length, 55.78 meters in width and 7.62 meters in height. It can operate at a depth of 90 meters with a 9,144-meter drilling depth and can accommodate 110 people.

CIMC Raffles has made improvements in platform design, such as adding the function of intercom systems and optimizing piping and electrical installations. It is equipped with the most advanced National Oilwell Varco system.

The new rig is expected to further the development of COPE's offshore exploration.
