Shandong Huanghai Agriculture Development Co Ltd, an agriculture e-commerce enterprise in Yantai of Shandong province, was listed in Shanghai Equity Exchange (SEE) on July 3.
It is the first agriculture e-commerce platform in the country to list on the Shanghai Equity Exchange.
Launched on March 24 2015, the platform - Shandong Huanghai Trading Center - has attracted over 20,000 members and its trade volume exceeded 10 million yuan ($1.63 million) during the past four months, with products including dried sea cucumbers, Yantai apples, American grapes, canned fruit, protein powder and rice. The platform allows 10,000 people to trade online at the same time.
Sai Jun, the CEO of Huanghai Agriculture Development Co Ltd, said, "The successful listing in Shanghai Equity Exchange marks a brand new step for our enterprise."
The e-commerce platform plans to lure 300,000 users and become the top agriculture trading platform in China within three years.
Founded in 2012, the Shanghai Equity Exchange has become a direct financing site for small and mid-sized enterprises. It also plays an important role in promoting company development and brand image. |
