The joint China-UK documentary Confucius had its world premiere in London on Wednesday. The 90-minute film, produced by China Central Television, Lion Television of the United Kingdom, China International TV Corp and Shandong Mass Media Group, looks at the Chinese philosopher's life, ideology and influence.
"The documentary Confucius not only presents a memorable, classic production but also explores a new model of China-UK historical documentary coproduction," Guo Weimin, deputy minister of China's State Council Information Office, said at the premiere at Lancaster House.
