Qingdao in Shandong province aims to add three national development zones and reach 10-percent growth in industrial added value, foreign investment and total import and export volume by 2020, according to a recent development plan issued by the local government.
In a bid to facilitate industrial upgrades and transformation, the plan also involves a series of policies promoting Internet Plus industries and attracting universities, research institutions and innovation platforms to the economic development zones.
The government will continue to implement financial reforms and offer financial support to innovative start-ups and talent training programs, according to the report. |
