Popular among visitors this time of year were also hot springs, skiing, and folk programs.

The hot springs in Taishan town bathed an average of 4,000 people each day during the festival, and almost all of its rooms and facilities were booked up in advance. During the festival period it had revenues of 2.2 million yuan, as it hosted not only Shandong tourists, but also people from nearby provinces such as Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and Henan provinces.

During the golden week, nearby sister mountain to Mountain Taishan, Mount Cu Lai, received 9,000 visitors who took part in many skiing activities.
