An increasing number of businesses in eastern China's Shandong province have benefited from the one-stop port inspection service system, according to a news conference held in Qingdao, Shandong on Thursday. Since 2014, the Qingdao Customs, together with the Shandong Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, have enhanced customs cooperation in areas such as information exchange, mutual recognition of regulations and mutual assistance in law enforcement. The move was estimated to help reduce customs clearance costs by 50 percent on average and save time by 30 percent, according to official data released by the Qingdao Customs.
