The first series of buses featuring hand paintings inside will hit the road in Yantai, Shandong province on Aug 23, the local public transport company announced.

 

To offer passengers a cozy environment, the public transport company had invited hand painters to draw pictures inside six buses of Bus Line 10. These paintings have different themes such as city civilization, ocean, Yantai and Kunyu mountains, Yangma Island and Penglai Pavilion.

The buses will first ply on roads on Aug 23 and run 40 minutes along a 20-km route. That day, the company will also invite 150 passengers for free bus ride. Anyone interested in the event can call +86-535-2917-809 or +86-135-6257-7839 for application. The registration time will be from Aug 20 to 23, 8 am to 5 pm.
