Nishan Press holds international forum to promote reading
The first Sino-US Nishan International Forum was held in Jinan, capital city of East China's Shandong province on Oct 12.

The forum was initiated by Nishan Press to serve as a platform for global civilization exchange and cooperation. With the theme of "reading and collection", this year's forum called on publishers, libraries and cultural institutions to make reading a regular habit among common people.
Among the participants were representatives from cultural, publishing and media industries from home and abroad such as John Szabo, curator at the Los Angeles Public Library in the US and Feng Qingdong, curator of the Shandong Provincial Library. Both Szabo and Feng gave keynote speeches at the forum.
Nishan Press, founded by the Shandong Press Group and Shangdong Friendship Publishing House, is a publishing house registered outside China, and is engaged in overseas publication and copyright trading.
