East China's Shandong province signed 44 agreements worth $2.52 billion with 21 companies of global 500 during the first three quarters, Dazhong Daily reported on Thursday.

These companies are from nine countries and regions and will invest in 15 sectors, with energy, environment protection, and equipment manufacturing being the favorite sectors.
