Compared with other domestic film bases such as the Hengdian Film Base in Zhejiang, which is well-known for ancient costume TV productions, Lingshan Bay has unique advantages with its coastal landscape and natural scenery, said He Mu, producer at the Shandong Film and TV Group.
After the whole project goes into operation in 2017, Lingshan Bay will form an industrial cluster featuring film and TV productions, conventions and exhibitions, and theme parks and entertainment, with the overall industrial scale expected to reach 100 billion yuan ($15.2 billion).
