The city of Jimo in Qingdao, Shandong province, held a special event to celebrate Mother's Day on May 8.

At the Nishan Academy of Jimo Library, more than 30 primary and middle school students dressed in ancient scholar costumes to read "Classic of Filial Piety", an orthodox Confucian text, to express gratitude to their mothers and promote Chinese traditional virtues.
