The 6th Shandong Cultural Industry Fair is going to be hosted at Jinan International Conference Centre in Jinan City, Shandong province from August 25 to 28.

The fair, with the theme of "transformation and upgrading, integration and development, entrepreneurship and innovation", upholds the principle of "government-leading, social participation, market operation and standardized management".

The fair sets its main venue in Jinan International Conference Centre and parallel venues in International Conference Centre and Weihai. It focuses on five sectors including achievements of provincial and regional cultural reform and development, new improvements of key cultural enterprises, cultural industry projects and parks and new cultural formats and equipments of CMMB.

The fair will also hold 12 major activities, such as the signing ceremony for Shandong's key cultural industry projects, the 1st Jinan Public Service Ads Contest, and the 4th Microfilm Competition on the same day.

The 6th Shandong Cultural Industry Fair is expected to build a platform for cultural exchange, display, trading and cooperation featuring rich content and complete function, construct a well-known cultural fair brand as well as incorporate culture with other fields including technology, tourism and business. It will be of great significance to boost the transformation and upgrading of Shandong’s cultural industry as well as the construction of a province leading in inheriting culture.
