With a theme of "Transforming and Upgrading, Innovation and Entrepreneurship", the SDCIF is comprised of exhibitions, forums and cultural activities.
Based at Jinan International Conference Center and Jinan Shungeng International Convention and Exhibition Center, the SDCIF covers an area of 100,000 square meters with 4,400 stands, and includes seven exhibition areas. A large number of exhibitors from both home and abroad are attending the event.
The Taiwan Exhibition Area and European Hall are expected to be some of the most exciting areas of this year's SDCIF. Cultural and creative products, local specialties and handcrafts from 23 Taiwan-based enterprises are on display in the Taiwan Exhibition Area. High-end European oil paintings, as well as cultural products from Russia, Canada and Japan are being showcased in the European Hall.
The proportion of exhibits related to new products, new technology and new equipment is as high as 60 percent out of a total of 173 cultural and technological enterprises participating in the fair.
The 17 local cities and provincial exhibitors present are expected to show off their achievements in the fields of science and technology, as well as their latest products.
Many new cultural products will make their debut during the event, demonstrating the results of the Culture Plus initiative.
