The 16th China (Qingzhou) Flora Trade Fair kicked off on Sept 28 in Qingzhou, a county-level city in Weifang, East China's Shandong province.

The fair consists of one indoor exhibition area and two outdoor exhibitions. Covering 42,000 square meters, the indoor exhibition is divided into two sectors—the exhibition area and the trade area. The exhibition area is designed to display special landscape models, new flower varieties, and flower arrangements.

Some 20 exhibitors from 10 foreign countries and regions including the Netherlands, South Korea, Japan, Denmark, and the US took part in the fair.

As a highlight of this year's fair, the outdoor exhibitions are specifically designed to showcase Qingzhou's unique flower culture.

The fair will last until Oct 7.
